Principal Art Director

You are good at:
  • Building and leading a high-performing team of Brand enthusiasts
  • Building strong brand identities
  • Graphic design theories, visual design models and media production technologies
  • Understanding businesses and conceptualising brands
  • Overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of a specific project which has a beginning, an end and specified deliverables and deadlines. Details below:
  • Planning: Define the scope of the project in collaboration with management; Determine the resources (time, money, equipment, etc) required to complete the project; Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities; Determine the objectives and measures upon which the project will be evaluated at its completion
  • Implementation: Set up files to ensure appropriate documentation; Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project on time
  • Tracking: Establish a communication schedule to update management on the progress; Review the quality of the work completed with the management & project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project and company standards

You will be responsible for (not limited to):
  • Fostering inter-department communications as they relate to art
  • Mentoring, monitoring, reviewing and appraising the team
  • Working with internal teams to enforce and evolve our social media followers that could bring brand awareness
Your experience:
  • A total of 10-13 years in the industry, out of which:
  • Minimum 8-10 years of demonstrated experience in Art Direction, Visualization, Animation; Motion graphics
  • Experience in Packaging design and Marketing Communication Design Projects
  • Minimum 5-7 years of leading a team
Your academic qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Arts, Graphic Arts, multimedia, or related field
  • Any other, as long as you possess In-depth knowledge of graphic design theories, visual design models and media production technologies

  • Some experience in pre-production through launch and live operations
